Century's 24 Resorter Reviews

Century's 24 Resorter

Century's 24 Resorter mixes the nostalgia of an iconic design with the benefits of modern technology. The outboard-powered 24 Resorter offers a deep-V fiberglass hull and a dual-console interior that lets families enjoy watersports, offshore fishing and day-cruising in comfort.

Our test boat featured power steering, electronic throttle and shift, and digital switching via a Raymarine eS127 Hybrid-Touch 12-inch multifunction display that also serves as a fish finder/chart plotter.

The optional hardtop grants abundant shade, as well as a ski-tow eye for wakesports, six overhead rod holders and four built-in stereo speakers. Twin loungers bracket the open bow. An optional clear acrylic table lets you enjoy snacks and beverages. Under the bow seating, a pair of lockers double as insulated fish boxes. An anchor locker on our test boat concealed a Lewmar windlass and a telescoping beach-boarding ladder. The portside passenger seat comes with four different positions, ranging from a traditional back-to-back seat to a forward-facing lounge. It also becomes an aft-facing lounger with extended leg support, or you can lay the backrest flat. Underneath this, you’ll find an insulated cooler.

An in-sole ski locker helps you stash watersports gear. A head compartment in the port console boasts 49 inches of headroom and a permanent porcelain marine toilet with a holding tank.

A 30-gallon livewell, insulated fish box, and a tackle prep/mini snack station reside in the transom. Four gunwale rod holders set you up to troll. A flip-up stern bench opens up seating while entertaining. The starboard transom door and swim platform invite you to take a dip. Reboard easily with the telescoping stainless-steel boarding ladder, then rinse off with the pullout freshwater transom shower.

Propelled by a Yamaha F300 outboard, the 24 Resorter raced to a top speed of 44.4 mph at 5,800 rpm. This deep-V hull rides smoothly in choppy water, and handling proved superb, as the 24 Resorter carved turns with grace and confidence at speed.
